If I Cürse Them, It Will Follow Them Forever!” – Veteran Actor Lalude Slams APC, MC Oluomo Over Neglect After Campaigning for Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu

Nigerian Veteran Yoruba actor Fatai Odua, popularly known as Lalude, has finally spoken out in frustration and heartbreak over what he describes as a deep betrayal by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and key party figures after the 2023 elections.

In a candid interview that’s now trending across social media, the actor recounted how he, alongside other respected Nollywood stars like Alapini, dedicated nearly two months of their lives to mobilizing massive grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

According to Lalude, it was MC Oluomo, the Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman, who personally rallied actors and entertainers, promising rewards and support after the elections.

“He called us together and said we should campaign for APC. He even told Alapini and I to ask for anything we wanted — and we did. But since then, nothing has come out of it,” Lalude revealed.

Clearly emotional, Lalude said the entire experience left him feeling used, disrespected, and forgotten, despite sacrificing his time, energy, and public image to support the ruling party.

“We did it with our sweat. Now they’re acting like we don’t exist. If I curse them, it will follow them forever,” he stated.

He didn’t hold back as he lashed out at unnamed individuals whom he accused of blocking their promised benefits, insisting that such people would not go unpunished.

“Those who made sure we didn’t get anything — their lives will n3ver be at peace,” Lalude added with visible pain.
