•Controversial activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has declared support for Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, if he decides to run for the Lagos State governorship in 2027.
Although neither Seyi Tinubu nor his father has made any official announcements regarding the younger Tinubu’s candidacy, various groups have expressed support for him to contest for the position.
In a video shared on Instagram handle on Friday, 17th of January 2025 VeryDarkMan explained why he would wholeheartedly support Seyi in his political ambitions, viewing his potential candidacy as a step towards a generational shift in Nigerian politics.
VeryDarkMan partly said:
“If Seyi Tinubu decides to run for governorship…I’m going to campaign for him. I don’t do politics but I’ll do politics because of Seyi Tinubu.
“Based on my calculation, Seyi Tinubu is a bridge to get something that I want, something that I believe will make Nigeria work,” he added.
VeryDarkMan also spoke on the political influence Seyi may already possess, suggesting that the younger Tinubu could be building a network of loyalists in key positions who will help further his political agenda.
He speculated that Seyi’s allies are likely to be younger individuals, as they would be easier to manage and align with his vision, unlike older politicians who may prove more challenging to control.
The controversial figure further predicted that if Seyi becomes Lagos’ Governor, he could potentially use his influence to propel his supporters into key political roles across the country, which could lead to a new wave of leadership. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>>
