Chiwetalu Agu, a Veteran Nollywood actor has revealed he worked for the Biafran soldiers at the age of 12 during the civil war.
The actor made this known in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, shared Friday.
The veteran actor, who was arrested by the Nigerian Army in 2021, for allegedly supporting the proscribed separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra, Popularly known as IPOB, said he worked for Biafra at age 12, running errands with others in the ‘Boy’s Company.’
In his words:
“During the year I was 12 years old, I worked for Biafra.
We were in the ‘Boy’s Company.’ If you were strong enough by age, you do what they call “raking”, you go close to the warfront to do “raking”.
“Raking” is picking information for your people.
