Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke has come out to debunk rumors going about that he was arrested in East Africa.
The popular singer told fans on social media that, “I have never been arrested by anyone for any crime in any country in the world.”
He stated that the speculations about his arrest had led to a “barrage of calls”, which is making the singer to threaten legal action against whoever started the rumours.
He added in a statement, “I successfully completed my scheduled shows in Uganda and Kenya and have since returned home to Nigeria.”
The success of the performances is evident from the comments made by others; Uganda’s Daily Monitor newspaper referred to his Kololo concert as a “timeless hit wave”.
The publication reported that the star’s tardy arrival at Entebbe airport and nonattendance at a press conference were virtually forgotten due to the exceptional quality of the performance. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
