Mercy Eke, a Nigerian Reality TV star has disclosed that she has more than N100 million deposited with the now-closed Heritage Bank.
She said this following news that the Apex bank CBNhas revoked the operating license of Heritage Bank and is in the process of liquidation by the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, Freshreporters media reports.
However, the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has promised depositors that they will receive an insured sum of up to N5 million.
Blaming herself via her X page on Thursday, 6th of June, 2024, she mentioned how uncertain she feels about the news although hoping for the best outcome.
She wrote:
“I really don’t know (sic) how to react about this … I have been hoping for the best thinking there’s a way out…. #heritagebank…….I do… and have above 100m with them.”
Talking about her account manager she said:
