” I Can’t See With My Eyes Again” – Hotel Staff, Student Simon Josephine Beaten By Her Boss Cries Out

One hotel staff identified as Josephine Simon has cried out after her boss, Mr Peter Okoro allegedly made her a punching bag.

The Abia State college of health science and management student narrated,

“My name is Simon Josephine,I am from abia,I am a student of abia state college of health sciences and management technology aba Abia state,I am working for one Mr peter okoro,at his newly opened hotel, The name of the hotel is Sapito residence and suite located at Abayi Obeala,at Osusu amukwu off new Umuahia road.

“This is two months I have been working for him as a house keeper supervisor,we bagin about my salary 35k at the beginning, which after one month he said that he can not continue paying me that amount that it is too big, that he will start paying me 25k which I disagree with him and we later concluded at 30k,he reduce some house keeper and leave only one with me, which I now do both supervision and cleaning of room as well,but he keeps on complaining about the salary,so reaching yesterday been 29 of this July ,he came back to the hotel around 5 pm when we have finished both compound cleaning and the rooms,he came back and ask me what I am doing,I told him that we have finished working for today,he now instructed me to go and clean the room he gave to our chef, that the room is dirty, which I did and the chef came back I told him that director is not happy about the way the room that he should meet him and talk things out which they later talk about in the evening”

“I normally sleep at the vip bar when ever there is no guest there ,he told the receptionist to ask me out of there which I refused telling the girl that is where I always sleep,the girl want and called him,he came and ask me to come out, which I did and they lock the place,so I now told him to pay me off that I will not work for him again,he said that I should wait until he is paying others salary which I accepted,and want and seat at the reception, our director now left,so me and ola the receptionist started exchanging words that night and the poster called him on phone to come back, which he came and started telling me to leave the hotel premises around 11 pm which I told him that I am not going out that it is late,that I will stay till morning,he refused and call the security to drag me out which the boy refuse,he now use his hand and nakad me while dragging me out from the reception,I now stay in the compound he said that I should leave the place,I refuse and I was asking him why he is treating me like this,is it because I am working for, which I was crying he came again and push me down three times I feel down of the floor and hold his clothes, that is when now started beating me and injured me like this,he said that if I like I should die that he doesn’t care about it that nothing will happen, that he when the chef now meet him and tell him that what happened to me is big that he wants to take me to hospital, that is when they took me to one maternity around that place, which the lady didn’t do much on me,he later came by 1 and pay the one five thousand and all of them left me in that place and go home till morning none of them came and the woman refuse to give me another treatment,I now left there and go back to the hotel I didn’t see him,I now took myself to hospital and he is still threatening me,so please I need justice,is not a crime to work and support yourself in school, please I need justice he said I can’t do him anything” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>
