“I Believed I Had a Decent, Faithful and Loving Wife” – Ugandan diplomat in téars after DNA revealed he’s not the biological father of two of his 5 children

Ugandan diplomat and businessman, Chris Rugari, has opened up about the d£ath of his 2-year-old son, Nganwa, and his shocking discovery that two of his three eldest children are not biologically his.

Rugari’s estranged wife, Joline Kanoheri, was arrested after reporting that Nganwa had f@llen from the first floor of their Kampala home.

But police found no inj¥ries consistent with a fall. A murder investigation was launched, and DNA later confirmed Rugari was the father.

In a letter dated April 9, he wrote: “I had always been grateful for what I believed was a decent, faithful, and loving wife, and I was extremely proud of our family.”

Rugari added:

“If perhaps I had d+ed before and went to heaven, the first thing I would have told God was to say thank you for giving me a wonderful wife.

That changed in September 2023, when

“I made the p+inful discovery that two out of our three eldest children are not biologically mine. This is when my conflict with Joline began.”

He denied claims that he allowed her to have children with other men:

“Whoever conceived that narrative needs a sobriety test, as it lacks any logical basis.
I had refrained from commenting… especially while mourning the br¥tal and cru£l d£ath of my beloved son under unclear circumstances.”
Rugari said: “My sole concern now is uncovering the truth… how a 2-year-old child f@lls from the first floor, shows no inj¥ries, but d+es.”
Press, I request you to give me time to mourn… Today, my wife is in prison… DNA has ruled out two kids… and the one who was mine is d+ad.”

Meanwhile, Kanoheri and her maid Robinah Nabanja have been remanded until May 6, 2025. In court, Joline said: “I am innocent. Even God knows that I am innocent. I can’t m¥rder my baby… I have been a mother and father of my children.”
