The Nigeria federal government has approved the construction of an airstrip in Canaanland, the headquarters of the Living Faith Church Worldwide popularly known as Winners Chapel, in Ota, Ogun state, freshreporters media reports.
This was done to improve transportation for worshippers and visitors, particularly during large events such as Shiloh, an annual convention that draws thousands of attendees from around the world, as members would now be able to land and park their aircraft at Canaanland.
However, the act sparked mixed reactions from netizens, as some have praised the development while some kicked against it.
Ayomitide commented: “Yeye dey smell. We wait till another government cancels the approval. Because if you get it for you: the same should apply to several other Nigerians who are willing to have airstrip. Just how many will the government approve? It’s ok o”.
“When God is your source, what others struggle for, you wouldn’t even flinch. Congrats Baba Oyedepo”. #micheal___x commented.
Afolabi Bamidele on his part wrote: “I’m a member but I think this is not a priority. The road repairs from Ojuoore to Canaanland should be the priority. Miss_socrates also shared her opinion saying: “Na you dey fly, Na me dey Clap. First batch of men to discover this update”.
“How many members get plane for this church?” #sammieyan questioned. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
