How I Collected Used Clothes As Payment For Writing Davido’s Songs – Peruzzi Opens Up

Nigerian artist, Tobechukwu Okoh, better known by his stage name Peruzzi, who has come clean about getting paid to write songs with his former boss, Davido.

Peruzzi was questioned over rumors that Davido gave him clothes that he had previously worn during a recent interview with a skit creator Isbae U’s show.

“Is it true that when you write Davido’s songs, he pays you with ‘take this up and down, na once I don wear am’?” Isbae U asked.

Peruzzi grinned and admitted that this had happened once, but stated that it was no longer the case.

He said: “I swear I am not going to lie, I used to collect clothes before. But there was a particular one I wrote and he gave me some money so I stopped but I used to, before.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
