The residents of Nimbo Community in Uzo-Uwani LGA saw another vicious attack by murderous Fulani herdsmen yesterday, Sunday, April 28, 2024. Numerous individuals were hurt, and four people—including a child—were reported dead.
An indigenous member of the community confirmed the occurrence and said it happened in Ugwu Ijoro village in the late afternoon.
The harders broke inside the settlement and began firing intermittently. Four persons were shot dead by the herders, while several more suffered severe injuries of varying degrees throughout the operation.
The herders are said to have left the village following the incident, thus no arrests have been made as of yet. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
