Gunmen Kidnap and K!ll Lawyer in Anambra

A notable lawyer named Barrister Jude Oguejiofor was brutally murdered by gunmen, shattering the peace of the Orsumogu village in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The Nigerian Tribune reported that Oguejiofor and his younger brother, a doctor, were visiting their hometown when Oguejiofor became a victim of the horrific incident.

Armed attackers ambushed and kidnapped the two men in a horrifying act of violence and lawlessness.

Regrettably, Barrister Jude Oguejiofor did not survive the incident, despite the fact that Oguejiofor’s brother was eventually set free by the attackers.

According to people familiar with the incident, Oguejiofor was abducted while going home to see his ailing parents in an attempt to get rest and spend time with his loved ones.

“The gunmen later released his brother and kept him on the allegation that he had been writing petitions to the Anambra State government about their activities,” a source who pleaded for anonymity said.

They, however, promised that he would be released as soon as they complete their investigations.
