A truck carrying about 40ft container has fallen at Upper-Iweka Junction along the Onitsha-Owerri Road, causing gridlock in the area.
According to report gathered the truck fell on Friday, traffic in and out of Onitsha has remained at a standstill up till now.
It was also gathered that the incident happened when the truck was coming from River Niger Bridge.
Nze Chukwuebuka, the chairman of Truck Drivers Association of Nigeria, Anambra Chapter, who lamented over the bad road, stated that lorries and vehicles fall on a daily basis due to the bad road.
