Serena Williams, Grand slam winner, on Monday, cling to the second round of the United States Open after knocking down Danka Kovinic of Montenegro, 6-3, 6-3 on opening night.
Serena Williams revealed that the crowd helped her pull through the game. She added that walking away from her rooted sport after 27 years is such a hard step for her.

“The crowd was crazy, they helped me pull through. I was really pumped. I think when you are passionate about something it is always hard to walk away, I have been trying to decide what to do. I love this game.” She stated
Serena Williams, who won her first Grand Slam title in the same arena in the year 1999 plans her retirement after the tournament. She disclosed this in the beginning of this month (August).
