The Imo state governor, Hope Uzodimma, has hosted the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, who was on a courtesy visit to the state.
According to Uzodimma, Imo has consistently enjoyed a strong and productive relationship with the Ministry of Defence and its agencies.
Abubakar’s visit to the state was disclosed in a statement by the Imo state governor on Saturday, 23rd of November 2024.
The statement reads:
“I had the honour of receiving the Honourable Minister of Defense, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, during his courtesy visit. We shared our vision for sustaining a strong partnership in strengthening the security of our society, along with other matters of mutual interest.
“I deeply appreciate the Honourable Minister’s dedication to this critical mission and his acknowledgment of our collective efforts in this regard. Imo State has consistently enjoyed a strong and productive relationship with the Ministry of Defense and its agencies. This collaboration has been instrumental in addressing the security challenges facing our people.
