The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sworn in the chairman and members of Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
The LASIEC body are expected to coordinate the proposed Local Government elections in the State.
The swearing in was disclosed in a post by the Lagos Governor Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, on Friday, 10th of January 2025.
The post reads:
“Governor of Lagos State, Mr #jidesanwoolu swears-in the Chairman and Members of Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), they are expected to coordinate the proposed Local Government elections in Lagos State.
“Chairman: Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighile
