Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has hosted the minister of health, Mohammed Ali Pate, and the outgoing World Bank country director for Nigeria, Ndiamé Diop, at his residence in Kaduna.
The meeting focused on strengthening existing collaborations between the Kaduna State government and the World Bank, as well as exploring new areas of cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Health.
Governor Sani during the course of the meeting,commended Minister of Health,Pate for his dedication to improving healthcare in Nigeria and his contributions to global health development.
This was made known via a statement on the governor’s X page on Sunday, 9th of March 2025.
The statement reads:
” I had the honour of receiving in my residence the Honorable Minister of Health, Dr. Mohammed Ali Pate and the outgoing World Bank Country Director, Dr. Ndiamé Diop. We shared thoughts on existing partnerships between the Kaduna State Government and the World Bank, as well as areas of cooperation between the Federal Ministry of Health and the Kaduna State Government.
“I commended the Honourable Minister for his invaluable services to Nigeria and his contributions to the enhancement of healthcare globally. I also thanked the outgoing World Bank Country Director for his strong leadership, impact in Nigeria, and sustained support to Kaduna State.
