Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor, has participated in the annual Lagos tree planting day with the theme “Nurture Our Future.”
The Governor added that the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) under the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources has been mandated to plant 20,000 trees over the next year.
Sanwo-Olu disclosed this while sharing images via his X handle on Sunday, 14th of July, 2024.
The caption reads:
