Gov Sanwo-Olu commissions Lagos state commercial court

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has launched the newly constructed Lagos State Commercial Court at Tapa, Lagos Island.

A statement on his X handle reads:

“Today, I officially commissioned the newly constructed Lagos State Commercial Court at Tapa, Lagos Island.

“This building embodies our commitment to fostering a judicial environment that delivers timely, efficient, and specialized adjudication of commercial disputes.

“The commercial court has ten fully furnished courtrooms, complemented by libraries on each floor and well-equipped conference rooms. These facilities will not only enhance the judicial experience but will also serve as a refuge for those seeking justice in their commercial dealings.

“Our goal is to create a legal framework that supports economic growth, encourages investment, promotes entrepreneurship, and ultimately simplifies the process of doing business in Lagos State.
