Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state, with a promise to construct a new corps lodge.
The Governor gave the assurance during a special event where corps members honoured him in appreciation of the continued support his administration has extended to them.
This includes the recent increment of their monthly stipends, improved welfare packages, and significant investments in physical infrastructure to enhance their living and working conditions.
Governor Fintiri commended the corps members for their dedication to national service and reiterated his administration’s resolve to make their stay in Adamawa both productive and comfortable.
Also present at the event were the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Prof. Kaletapwa G. Farauta, and the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley among other top government officials.
