Goodluck Jonathan, AU Observers arrives Botswana for election monitoring

Members of the African Union Election Observation Mission (AUEOM) visited some polling stations in Gaborone, the Botswana Capital on Wednesday.

The visitation was to observe the 30th of October, 2024 Botswana general elections.

This was revealed via a post shared on the X page of Former Nigeria’s President and leader of the AUEOM, Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday, 30th of October, 2024.

He wrote:

“Out early on Election Day in Botswana, we, as members of the African Union Election Observation Mission (AUEOM) visited some polling stations in Gaborone, the nation’s capital city.

“The October 30, 2024 general elections is the 13th since Botswana became independent in 1965.
