Gombe State Gov, Yahaya Appoints New Monarch Of Funakaye

Muhammadu Yahaya, the governor of Gombe State, has approved the appointment of Yakubu Kwairanga as the new Emir of Funakaye in the state.

Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo Who is the commissioner, Ministry of Local Government ans Chieftaincy Affaires made this known in a statement signed.

Dasuki while conferring him the privileged said the appointment is based on recommendations of the kingmakers of the Funakaye Emirate Council of the Community.

While presenting the appointment letter to the new Gombe monarch at the Emir’s palace in Bajoga, Funakaye Local Government Area, Dasuki Jalo, beseech the monarch to embrace all and sundry in his community and build on the legacies of his predecessors in the community.
