Germany-Based Nigerian Woman Seeks Justice After Her 14-Year-Old Son Was Assãulted By Teammates (Video)

Bridget Guttermann, a Nigerian woman residing in Germany, is demanding justice for her 14-year-old son, Jordan Egharevba, who was subjected to a distressing incident of assault by his fellow teammates at the JFL Schlotheim Traingslager football academy.

Jordan’s mother expressed her concerns, saying, “Jordan loves football, and we sent him to this football academy here in Germany, investing a significant sum of €1000 monthly.” However, in April 2023, their hopes for a positive experience were shattered when a disturbing video surfaced, capturing four boys attacking Jordan – three of them were white, while one was black, like Jordan.

Appalled by the footage, Bridget Guttermann immediately reached out to the football academy, expecting them to take responsibility for the incident. However, to her dismay, the academy refused to acknowledge any culpability, dismissing the incident as mere fun among the boys.

In response to the severity of the situation, the family filed a report with the German police, hoping that justice would be served. Regrettably, up until this point, no meaningful action has been taken, leaving the family frustrated and disillusioned.

Bridget shared, “My son was so frightened that he hesitated to confide in us at home, as the assailants had threatened him. Consequently, we had no choice but to withdraw him from the football academy. However, he deserves justice, as both the academy and the police have failed him.”

The Guttermann family is now calling for a thorough investigation into the incident, urging the authorities to take appropriate action against the perpetrators and hold the football academy accountable for their lack of action.
