The German Government on Tuesday handed over some stolen Benin bronzes to Nigeria in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
The German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Baerbock, presented over 22 our of about 1,130 looted artefacts to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Nigeria, Geoffrey Onyeama, and the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
This was revealed via this minister twitter page on Tuesday.
