The Rivers state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, paid a courtesy visit to hia Bayelsa State counterpart, Douye Diri, at his country home in Sampou.
This was made known in a post via his X page on Thursday, 4th of January, 2024.
Sharing photos from the visit, he wrote,
“We paid a New Year’s visit to our brother; Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen.#govdouyediri at his country home in Sampou.
“It was rewarding as it availed the opportunity for heart-to-heart talks on improving the relationship between our states.
