One large portion of the Popular fitness centre, Eco Fitness Hub, in the Gwarinpa area of Abuja, has been gutted by fire.
The cause of the fire which erupted at the early hours of Wednesday remains unknown.
In a video shared by TVC, on Wednesday, 13th of November 2024, the eyewitness who claimed to be a regular visitor at the fitness centre said:
“This is Eco fitness Gwarimpa, where I usually train every morning.
“Just this morning, we saw the fire coming out. We’ve called the fire service , I personally have called the fire service , but they’re yet to be here.
“I have called the federal fire service, for like an hour now and they’ve not been here, we’re still waiting.
“The fire service just, got here, after like an hour that I called.”
