Four suspects nabbed for k!lling Nigeria Army general during a r@bbery att@ck in Abuja

Men of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF have nabbed four suspected killers of an Abuja-based retired Brigadier General Uwem Udukwere.

Recall that Udukwere was reportedly killed by armed robbers on Saturday, 22nd of June, 2024 at his Sunshine Estate home in Abuja, Freshreporters media reports.

The four suspects have been identified as Ibrahim Rabiu, of 33 years, Nafiu Jamil of 33 years, Aliyu Abdullahi of 47, and 28-year-old Mohammed Nuhu.

Parading the suspects on Monday, 24th of June, 2024 the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, revealed they were nabbed on Sunday, 23rd of June by detectives from the Utako Police Division of FCT.

Confirming the incident, the commissioner said,

“The suspects are responsible for att@cking, r%bbing and k+lling one Brigadier General Uwen Harold Udokwere (rtd.) on June 22, 2024, at his residence in Sunshine Homes Estate in Kabusa.

The suspects, who confessed to the crime, st@bbed the General when he tried to resist them with his pistols. The knife used in committing the crime was recovered and the deceased stolen phone was equally recovered,” the commissioner said.

Rabiu Ibrahim, who spoke with TheNation on how the general was k+lled said: “We st@bbed the general with a knif£. We went to rob him and we collected laptops and phones from him.

I was the one that k+lled him with a knife. I had two knives. I st@bbed him in the stomach while another of my friends st@bbed him in his shoulder. The general was with his g¥n and he was struggling with us that was why we k+lled him.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
