Four policemen have been remanded over the shooting of a young man, identified as Gafaru Buraimoh, of Happy Land Estate, Ajah, on the 6th of December 2022.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos state police spokesperson who shared the update on the shooting on today Saturday, took to his verified twitter handle, and said “Four police officers involved in this incident were arraigned yesterday. They have been remanded in prison pending DPP advice.”
The deceased, Buraimoh was shot dead on Tuesday, 6th of December, 2022, in an incident involving men of Ajah police division.
It was gathered that the officer behind the shooting was a Police inspector.
Recall that a Lagos-based legal practitioner, Bolanle Raheem, was also shot dead by ASP Drambi Vandi also of the Ajah division last Christmas Day.
