Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni, a former goalkeeper for the Super Falcons, passed away.
Aluko-Olaseni reportedly passed away following an eight-year fight with cancer.
The Nigerian Football Federation made this announcement via a post on its X account, @thenff late on Saturday night.
It read, “We are sad to hear of the passing of former @NGSuper_Falcons goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni after an eight-year battle with cancer.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
