Former Man Coach U Erik ten Hag Faces Sack at Bayern Leverkusen After Just Two Bundesliga Games

The Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly on the brink of losing his job at Bayer Leverkusen just two matches into his Bundesliga reign.

The Dutch coach has picked up only one point from his opening fixtures, with fans and pundits questioning his tactical approach.

Leverkusen lost their opening game 2-1 to Hoffenheim before surrendering a 3-1 lead against 10-man Werder Bremen, settling for a 3-3 draw.

German outlet Kicker reports that the club has declined to publicly back Ten Hag, fueling speculation of an imminent dismissal.

Ten Hag, who only took charge in May 2025, succeeded Xabi Alonso after his historic domestic double with Leverkusen.

However, early struggles and fitness concerns in the squad have cast doubt over the Dutchman’s future, leaving his tenure hanging by a thread.
