Former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counselling by Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The honour was bestowed during the university’s 43rd Convocation Ceremony held on Saturday, drawing dignitaries, well-wishers, and supporters to the celebratory event.
In her honour, women’s groups, including Rivers Women Unite for SIM led by Sotonye Toby Fult, organised a lively celebration marked by singing and dancing.
A video from the event has since gone viral, capturing Jonathan dancing joyfully with the women to the popular and controversial chant, “Na our mama be this ooo…”
