Former Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, has responded to an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and made his way to the EFCC office in Makurdi today.
In a low-key arrival, Ortom arrived at the EFCC office at around 10:08 am, driving his private SUV vehicle. He was accompanied by his two former aides, Terver Akase, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, and Abraham Kwaghgu, his Principal Special Assistant.
Sources indicate that the former governor is currently engaged in closed-door discussions with EFCC officials at the state coordinator’s office. The nature of the talks and the specific details surrounding the invitation have not been disclosed at this time.
