The Rivers State Government has begun the distribution of relief materials to victims of floods at the Internally Displaced Individuals camps in Ahoada East and Ahoada West Local Government Areas of the Rivers state.
George Nwaeke, the chairman of the state task force, who spoke to the victims of the flooding, stated they were at the camps to provide assistance to the victims in line with the promise of Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State.
