Flood has taken over the Herbert Macaulay Way in the Yaba area of Lagos state, days after a heavy downpour in the state.
An identified civil society organisation which deals with tracks implementation of government projects, shared some photos from the scene of the flooded area on Monday, 11th of July, 2022.
Sharing the photo, the organization captioned “Dear #jidesanwoolu, Three days after the heavy downpour the entire Herbert Macaulay way in Yaba still remains flooded.
“We call on #followlasg to kindly fix the drainage channels for ease of movement for road users.”
Meanwhile, apart from the Herbert Macaulay area, some other different areas of Lagos state were flooded due to heavy downpour in recent days.
