The Timber market at the Wetheral Road area located at Owerri, the capital city of Imo State was razed by fire in the early hours today, Saturday being the Christmas Eve.
In the course of paying visit to the scene of the fire, it was gathered that residents and victims whose goods were lost in the fire lamenting their losses at the scene of the incident earlier today.
It was also gathered from several victims that the said fire started around 1:00 a.m. but before they could rush to the market square everything was lost in the fire.
