Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist, Femi Otedola, has officially launched his much-anticipated autobiography, where he opened up on his extraordinary rise from a school dropout to becoming one of Africa’s leading business moguls.
The launch, held in Lagos, attracted top political leaders, captains of industry, and international dignitaries.
In the book, Otedola narrates how dropping out of school became a turning point rather than a limitation.
He detailed the struggles, risks, and pivotal decisions that shaped his career, from building a fortune in the oil sector to diversifying into power and other industries.
Speaking at the ceremony, Otedola said his story was meant to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, emphasizing that resilience, vision, and determination are greater drivers of success than academic setbacks.
“I want young people to know that failure is not final—it can be the beginning of greatness,” he noted.
