A bomb planted by the Islamic State of the West African group in a building in Dogon Gida village, on the route between Krinowa and Marte, Borno State, exploded, killing at least six of the militants and injured several more.
According to information, the terrorists were sent out on six motorbikes from Kwalaram to place improvised explosive devices (IEDs) against Nigerian Army soldiers participating in Operation Lake Sanity.
It was learned that the terrorists were laying IEDs when their device went off, killing six of them and injuring four more to varying degrees.
