Former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Ghanaian President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo today visited Vice President Kashim Shettima and his delegation in London, extending their condolences and paying glowing tributes to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Shettima is in London on a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to oversee the repatriation of former President Buhari’s body to Nigeria.
Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13, in a London clinic after a prolonged illness.
Shettima’s delegation includes Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia.
The team is facilitating the necessary procedures for the return of the late leader’s remains for burial in Nigeria, expected on Tuesday, July 15.[CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
