Former Kenyan senior Treasury official Tom Osinde, who had been missing for almost two weeks, has been tragically found dead, according to the latest report.
Police have confirmed that the mutilated body of Osinde was discovered in the Kuja River, located in Migori County.
Just a day prior to this distressing discovery, law enforcement authorities had apprehended two suspects in relation to Osinde’s disappearance.
These individuals are said to be employees of a farm situated in Trans Mara West, Narok County. It was at this farm that Osinde’s vehicle had been found vandalized on Saturday, prompting the investigation.
The initial note released to declare him missing stated, “Former Treasury official, Tom Mokaya Osinde is missing. According to police, his car registration number KBZ 900R, a black V8, was found vandalized around Kilgoris, Transmara West, and he’s yet to communicate. The distraught family is appealing to anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 0723765267 or report to the nearest police station. Tom Mokaya Osinde resides in Ngata Farm, Nakuru, but originates from Gesibei, Nyansiongo Settlement scheme. Any assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated.”
