The Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles have appointed Emmanuel Amunike as new head coach.
Amunike’s appointment came after the managerial contract between the Super Eagles and Jose Peseiro expired in February.
Following weeks of reviewing applications from both international and domestic coaches, the NFF is said to have chosen Amuneke, who won the FIFA U17 World Cup with Nigeria’s U17 team.
According to reports, the NFF decided to engage a local coach, Amuneke since it could not afford to pay a foreign manager. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
