Sonia, the daughter of Nigeria federal lawmaker, Ike Ekweremadu, today Monday appeared in court accused of human trafficking of a homeless man into the United Kingdom, UK to harvest his organs to fit herself.
It was gathered that the younger Ekweremadu, Sonia was accused alongside her father Ike Ekweremadu, a years 60 federal lawmaker, her mother Beatrice Ekweremadu, of 56 years and 50-year-old doctor Obinna Obeta of conspiracy to arrange the travel of another individual with a view to exploitation.
Ms Ekweremadu has not entered a plea but a trial date has been set for her in January, 2023 FreshReporters gathered.
It was recalled that Sonia has a kidney-related disease and has been on dialysis for some time now.
