Ekiti Gov, Oyebanji, Fayemi, others attend stage performance at Muson Centre, Lagos State

Biodun Oyebanji, the Ekiti State governor, on Sunday, 5th of November, 2023 attended the Command Stage Play Performance of late Col. Adekunle Fajuyi, at Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos state.

The governor disclosed this via his X handle on Monday, 6th of November, 2023.

He wrote:

“I joined Ekiti former governors; Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and their wives, Senate Majority Leader, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele, former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Emeka Anyaoku, and other top dignitaries at the Command Performance of ‘Fajuyi,’

“A stage play on the heroic deeds of the former military governor of the old Western State, Col. Adekunle Fajuyi, at MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos State, Sunday evening.

“The play written and directed by one Nigeria’s finest in arts and entertainment sector and Honourable Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy in Ekiti State, Prof Rasaki Ojo Bakare, speaks to the heroic deeds of the late Col. Adekunle Fajuyi and the supreme sacrifice he paid for the unity of our dear country.

“Col. Adekunle Fajuyi personified courage, loyalty and integrity- virtues that are dear to the Ekitis, which the younger generation should cultivate.

“He will forever be remembered for his contributions to the unity of Nigeria.
