Men of the anti-graft agency have arrested seven internet fraudsters in Abuja and recovered some items.
This was conveyed in a statement issued out by the commission on 8th of November 2024.
The statement reads,
“Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja have arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters.
They were arrested in Abuja on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Kubwa axis of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
Items seized from them include 12 phones, 2 cars, 1 iPad, 1 laptop and 3 exotic wristwatches.
