EFCC nabs 35 suspected internet fráudsters in Edo state

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 35 suspected internet fraudsters in Auchi, Edo State.

The suspects were apprehended at different locations within Auchi, including Vigilante Street, off Sabo Ibenafo Road, and the Back of Yak area, following credible intelligence linking the individuals to alleged internet-related fraudulent activities.

According to a post on theX handle of the agency, several items were recovered from the suspects including nine vehicles, eleven laptops, 46 mobile phones, and two smartwatches.

“Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested 35 suspected internet fraudsters in Auchi, Edo State. They were arrested in Vigilante Street, off Sabo Ibenafo Road and Back of Yak areas of the town.

“Their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
