The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has charged a former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Usman Yusuf, before Justice Chinyere Nwecheonwu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Kuje, Abuja.
Yusuf was arraigned on a five-count amended charge, bordering on alleged fraud.
The former NHIS Executive Secretary is facing accusations of using his position to grant himself undue benefits between 2016 and 2017.
He is also alleged to have awarded contracts without adhering to the proper procurement procedures. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
