Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, has paid an unexpected visit to the King’s College Main campus at the Tafawa Balewa’s Square (TBS).
Alausa upon arrival at the school inspected various labs, classrooms, and dormitories in the school.
While addressing the students, he promised to address the revamping of some structures in the school to enhance their learning environment.
The visit was captured in a video he shared via his X page on Thursday, 13th of February 2025.
In the video, he was seen saying:
“Good morning to you all, I’m so happy to be here with you, the future leaders of our country. I came in at about 7:30 am, it was an unannounced visit, and I wanted to see things the way. “
“I’ve been around, I went to your classes, I went to your chemistry lab, your physics lab, your biology lab, and your technical drawing lab.
“I went to your ICT centre also to your dining room, I went to several of your classes, I went to your dormitory, and I must say, the things that I’ve seen here are not what we want for our children as you use.
“The facilities are quite dilapidated, but I’m making a promise to you now as your minister of education, that when I get back to Abuja, I’ll quickly look into this.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
