Drunk Man Fatally Stãbs A Nigerian, George Onuoha Over Motorcycle Riding In Indonesia (Video)

A shocking incident unfolded at the Paragon Village Apartment in Tangerang Regency, resulting in the death of a foreign citizen from Nigeria.

The victim, identified as George Onyekachi Onuoha (39), was stabbed multiple times and succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital.

The grim incident occurred on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m. The South Tangerang Deputy Chief of Police, Kompol Yudi Permadi, revealed that the tragedy began around 12:05 a.m. when the victim, riding a motorcycle at high speed, entered the Paragon Village Apartment premises.

Upon arriving, the victim encountered a group of intoxicated individuals, one of whom was Fit (31), the assailant. The group was engaged in a conversation and consuming alcohol on the sidewalk near the apartment’s minimarket. Witnesses reported that Fit shouted at the victim, who had halted his motorcycle in front of them.

Instead of stopping and apologizing, the victim chose to accelerate his motorbike, provoking Fit’s ire. Fueled by anger, Fit pursued the victim to the apartment’s exit gate while wielding a kitchen knife he had concealed under his motorbike seat.

When the victim finally halted his motorbike, Fit seized him by the collar and promptly plunged the knife into his stomach and chest. Despite being wounded, the victim attempted to flee but was relentlessly pursued by Fit, who inflicted multiple stabs on his body.

Despite the injuries sustained, the victim managed to stagger out of the apartment, but due to the severity of his wounds, he collapsed on the side of the main road. Seizing the opportunity, Fit approached the fallen victim and continued his brutal assault.

Tragically, the victim’s injuries proved fatal, leading to his untimely demise. After committing the heinous act, Fit fled the scene, leaving behind a lifeless body and a shocked community.

Upon learning of the incident, a joint team comprising the Jakarta Metro Police’s Jtanras unit, the Tangsel Regional Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit, and the Curug District Police’s Criminal Unit initiated an immediate investigation and launched a manhunt for the perpetrator.

Their efforts bore fruit when the police successfully apprehended Fit at a hideout located on Jalan Raya Margonda in Depok City, West Java. During questioning, the perpetrator confessed to the crime, stating that he killed the victim out of offense when the latter recklessly rode his motorcycle in front of Fit and his companions.

The police have charged Fit under Article 338 of the Criminal Code, pertaining to the crime of murder, and/or Article 351 of the Criminal Code paragraph 3, concerning persecution resulting in the victim’s death. If convicted, the perpetrator could face a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
