Actress Regina Daniels has criticised colleague Angela Okorie for her recent remarks about Mercy Johnson’s health, calling them insensitive and unnecessary.
Angela, during an Instagram Live session, claimed she had forgiven Mercy Johnson after hearing of her alleged illness. The two have had a strained relationship in the past.
Mercy had dispelled rumour that she was battling cancer.
Angela had said:
“Recently, I heard Mercy Johnson is not feeling well and I really honestly feel for her, and I want the best for her.
“I want her to win. And, for real, the kind of sickness they told me she has is not something I would ever wish on even my enemies.
“And today, I’ve forgiven her. I don’t want to say anything else that concerns her. Sometimes, these bloggers are really crazy.”
Reacting on Tuesday on Instagram story, Regina Daniels condemned Angela’s comments, stating that such a personal matter should not be used for public drama.
She reaffirmed unwavering support for Mercy Johnson, saying there was no need for Angela to publicly declare forgiveness.
Regina Daniels wrote:
