Renowned veteran vocalist Daniel Oyebanjo, also known as D’Banj, and celebrated Nigerian music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, well known as Don Jazzy, appear to have made up after a 12-year breakup.
Don Jazzy and D’Banj were seen cuddling and exchanging pleasantries in a now-viral video that D’banj and DonJazzy shared on Instagram on Friday.
The music video served as a promo for Dbanj’s recently released track, “Since 04,” in which he appears to be paying homage to Mo Hit Records, of which he was a key shareholder together with Don Jazzy and to which he belonged.
Writing the caption for the video post, D’Banj said, “It’s an Extra Special day because it’s not just since 04’s release, it’s also my brother’s birthday, Mr Macaroni. I must greet you speciaLEE on this day and wish you all the best and so much more as you age with grace. Oh boy @donjazzy big stepper, na you get this dance step oh, oosheeee. @mrmacaroni and @misstechy thanks for making this happen I enjoyed myself.”
Earlier on Thursday, D’Banj, posting pictures with Don Jazzy on Instagram wrote, “Brothers for life, It’s @donjazzy again. Bad boys Since 04. I must greet @mavingrandpa specially! Thanks for all the prayers and support since ‘04! Since ‘04 drops tomorrow, Ooossshhee.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
