Nigerian Lawyer and a right activist, Deji Adeyanju has tendered an apology and retracted his defamatory statement against Umar Damagun, the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, the Acting National Secretary of PDP.
It will be recalled that the duo had threatened to sue Adeyanju over allegations bordering on defamation.
Messrs Damagun and Anyanwu, through their counsel, Johnson Usman, SAN, asked Adeyanju to retract the statements and tender apology in national dailies and other social media platforms to avert the looming legal tussle.
