The Anambra state Governor, Charles Soludo has condemned the recent attack on Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as Odumeje.
The state government had on Thursday, 7th of July, 2022 ordered the demolition of his church building in the state.
Freshreporters had some times ago reported that the state officials had marked prophet Odumeje church building for demolition over inappropriate set location.
The state officials had taken on assignment to demolish the church building, which in the process led to physical assault and manhandling of the popular prophet by the task force members of the state.
However, the state Governor, Charles Soludo taking to his social media handle via Facebook on Friday, 8th of July, 2022 condemned such treatment.
Prof. Charles Soludo stated the attack melted on Prophet Odumeje was regrettable.
He said “Yesterday’s outing has evoked emotions, not against the decision of the government, but the imperfect and unprofessional manner with which one of the task force members discharged his lawful duty.
“This is highly regretted, and would never happen again. I have instructed that the task force personnel involved in the manhandling of Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere (Odumeje) be treated in accordance with the rules of public conduct which he roundly failed to uphold.”
